Feel like you're being watched.. You should. You know companies monitor phone, fax, mail, email and web. I have personally setup email and web monitoring systems before. Large companies need to be certain that their employees are not sharing data with competitors and that they are not looking at porn on company machines. Of course, to know espionage from a cute email to the hubby you must monitor all emails. Then you separate the good from the bad. I used to do that for hours at a time. It's amazing that even though I had each and every user sign a communications agreement (which, of course, had the seal of approval from legal dept.) the people still carried on as always. The rumor mill spun that IS couldn't monitor. Several people found out the hard way that we could. Digging through logs was tedious but definitely not boring. I know more than I should about certain companies and their employees, but that's another story.
The point, people, is that you are being watched. Not just at your workplace, either. From credit card trails to the camera on the stop light you are being monitored. Your email, phone and fax conversations are monitored on a global scale using systems like Echelon by partnering governments.
Why monitor you? We live in a day and an age where we must be protected from terrorists, criminals and ourselves. We don't know what side you are on until you are investigated. You hear occasionally of when the "system" fails. Children get taken away from good parents while the abusive ones adopt more. So in response, I hear "Someone should do something!" That someone tends to be the saving grace of the government. Yeah, people. Just feed the machine and justify the control gained by the government. Don't think for a minute that it doesn't affect you when criminals in California are required to get implants. Soon it will be you. The "system" is not perfect and it is not out to protect you or your rights but to justify its own existence and protect its presence. Maybe you need a view of the larger picture. Did you ever see the movie "Enemy of the State"? Every piece of technology exists that was in that film. It is not as well connected and fluid as the movie played it to be, but nonetheless it is there. It is watching. Here is some proof of that and other things you should know:

Microsoft® is pushing to have everyone use their Passport services via its .Net initiative. My concerns:
- Microsoft® does not like to share anything in their closed-source sandbox. Which guarantees that it will only work properly on a Windows box attached to an IIS server.
- 200 Million people have setup Passport accounts
- Implants have been used in humans (follow links below), but don't yet have a universal database to tie to. (ehem..this could be it).
- Whose interests are they truly vested in? Shareholders-NOT YOU.

Biometrics use expands by Pentagon, but does not quite fit the bill. Which makes for a great argument to go to embedded IDs of some sort.

Keep in mind that once the government stretches its arms to help you locate that lost dog, it won't be long until the Angel Network is approved for your CHILDREN to get implanted and tracked (it was designed a couple years back).
As of Sept 2000, China fines those who don't have implants in their dogs. Taiwan Headlines

Ok, this is unrelated but I am a huge fan of the movie, Matrix. So I found this interesting. Matrix insight
After you read the links then go back and dust off your Bible. If you don't have one, go to Barnes and Noble or the library. Turn to the very back of that 1500 year old book (yes, it is older than the Koran). Revelations 13:16-17 says "..forced everyone small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead. so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark..."
Sound like an arm implant to you? Actually, people will want to wave their hand at the ATM and won't be able to stick their arm all the way out-so of course it will go to the hand as was written. (Although operating on the back side of the hand is tricky because all of the tendons and nerves, elective surgeries for body art Teflon implants has a proven successful track record.)
Folks think of when this book was written and how the people lived. There is NO way someone could have guessed that instead of swapping donkeys and mules there would be a unified ID system, especially an uneducated disciple. Deep stuff. Pass it on.
